Do you have a size guide?

size is just a number these days… we prefer to work with actual measurements. it's super important to get sizing correct when ordering online!

How long does it take to receive a dress?

#BFbridesmaids dresses are made-to-order, meaning we only make dresses as they are ordered. we don’t carry stock of our dresses - that’s how we’re able to stay affordable

our dresses ship within 6 - 8 weeks. we keep you updated on the progress of your order each step of the way


How much is shipping? Is the order tracked?

shipping is FREE in New Zealand! sorry Australia - it’s a flat $20 shipping fee for AUS orders

of course we have tracking - it's as important to us as it is to you that you get your order! swatches are not tracked though… so let us know if your swatch order hasn’t been arrived

Do you ship internationally?

at this stage we unfortunately only ship within New Zealand and Australia


What if I'm not happy my order?

all #BFbridesmaid products are made to order - we do not keep stock of dresses so it's really important to make all possible efforts to get the order right.  that said, we understand that there can be issues and if you are not 100% satisfied with your order we'll give you a full refund

to receive a full refund, the items must be returned in original condition within 7 days of arrival.  the item must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged with the original tags attached and in its original packaging

My dress doesn’t fit me. What can I do?

if you ordered a standard size dress, you will need to get your dress altered. we highly recommend LookSmart Alterations - the most trusted clothing alterations franchise in New Zealand and Australia with over 120 locations

if you ordered a custom size dress and we stuffed up the measurements, we’ll order another dress free of charge if time permits, alternatively, we cover the cost of alterations. if the measurements are correct and the issue is a result of ill measuring, we don’t re-make the dress. in this case, you will need to get your dress altered.


How do I change my delivery address?

if you need to change the delivery address of an order, please email us directly at heretohelp@bfbridesmaids.co.nz.


How do I iron my dress?

chiffon is very delicate fabric and needs to be treated with care. we've found a great article that tells you step by step how best to iron wrinkles out of polyester chiffon (silk chiffon should NEVER be ironed - that's why we don't use it)

Martha Stewart’s mate at Madame Paulette (world’s leading garment cleaning and restoration specialists) swears by the old "hang on the bathroom door during a steamy shower" trick - it worked for us!
